My Climbing Rose Bush

So Ryan bought me a Lattice in the Winter when it was relatively cheap. I painted it white this Spring and Ryan installed it on the side of my front porch and I planted a climbing rose bush. It is a beautiful bush and I have a few blossoms and tons of buds. I'm so excited. I usually can't grow things or keep things alive, so this makes me happy. We are close to finishing our front garden area....Ryan still has a wall to build.


Our veggie/salsa garden is having issues. So, we may just get Cilantro and Pumpkins this year, but that is ok....we are learning. Learning to just buy the plants, not try to do seeds because we know not what in the world we are doing. That and we have not so nice dirt in the back so we need to come up with a rotatiller and some good dirt for next year.

Parker also enjoys his slip n slide in the hot weather, although he won't run and slide...he just tip toes like an old man....so this time...his daddy was home to help.
